I would recommend this book to anyone who loves animals. * The Strawberry Post * Featured in The Bookseller's children's book previews for June 2023 * The Bookseller * Author InformationJulian Norton is a respected veterinary surgeon, regular on the best-loved series The Yorkshire Vet and author of many novels for adults including Horses, Heifers and Hairy Pigs: The Life of a Yorkshire Vet and All Creatures: Heart-warming Tales from a Yorkshire Vet. Having worked in Yorkshire at various animal practices, he became partner at a practice at which Alf Wight (better known under his pseudonym of James Herriot) had worked. In 2021, Julian set up Sandbeck Veterinary Centre in Wetherby and continues to appear on the Yorkshire Vet as well as regularly appearing as a guest on television shows and literary events. Jo Weaver had a career as a support worker in the non-profit sector before retraining as an illustrator. She completed an MA degree in Children's Book Illustration at the Cambridge School of Art in 2014, where she discovered a love of working in charcoal. Shortly afterwards she was shortlisted for the Association of Illustrator's newcomer's Awards, and has since won the Award Nati per Leggere for her highly-acclaimed debut Little One (Little Tiger).
