Adventures That Bite: Campfire Tales of Dangerous Creatures

Overview

Sitting around a campfire, the mood was peaceful. Somewhere from the now-eager group came a question. 'Have you ever been attacked by an animal?' Without hesitation my answer was precise and clear. 'Yes.' Follow the unusual encounters of author Mike Culbertson in Adventures That Bite, a creative and humorous accounting of the perils of camping...such as being attacked by mosquitoes and porcupines. Outdoor lovers both young and old will be drawn to Culbertson's engaging style, finding themselves lost in his Adventures That Bite. Author Mike Culbertson grew up in Vancouver, WA, where he loved the outdoors and neighborhood sports. A truck driver since 1979, Mike lives in Yacolt, WA, with his wife, Lynn, and four great kids. A former baseball and wrestling coach, and a 4H Club leader, he is currently a Level II Archery Instructor, teaches archery for Girl Scouts and is the TBW (Traditional Bowhunters of Washington) Director. Mike loves to tell stories and enjoys hearing other people's stories. Every year, Mike spends two weeks at Mt. Adams in the Gifford Pinchot Wilderness. That is his sabbatical, where God's beauty penetrates the soul.
