Overview

A deployed parent is a hard thing for a child to endure, yet it is done everyday by the little hero's of America. This is a story of one of those little soldiers. Princess Stinkerdoodles and her magical teddy bear Mr. Fuzzy are two friends who miss their daddy very much. Currently deployed in Afghanistan, the little princess and her best friend use Mr. Fuzzy's magic to Teddy-teleport to the deserts of war to find the daddy. Yet things go wrong and the two friends end up all over the world battling trolls and other sinister monsters. Each night they will try again, hoping beyond all hope that they will find their daddy. Author Information

Matthew Bresley was born in Des Moines Iowa, in 1979. He moved around a lot as a child with his mother Lorraine and his sister Georgia. After the tragedy of his mother's death in April of 1994 Matthew was adopted by the greatest people on Earth, The Mettlers. Eric and Deanna Mettler sacrificed many things over the years raising their own children Pete, Niles and Leslie along with young Matthew. After dropping out of school Matthew attended Denison Job Corps to get his G.E.D. While attending Job Corp Matthew became the Student Council President, Dorm President and volunteered as a juggling mime for the local retirement home. After graduating from Job Corp with honors and a certification in Business Technologies, Matthew returned home to Des Moines Iowa. Matthew joined the Iowa National Guard and deployed to Kosovo as the 4th Squad riot gunner. As a young Specialist he appeared on the Pentagon Channel on the day of Kosovo's Independence while escorting an Air force journalist team through the mountains. Matthew joined the Active Army in 2010 and was stationed at Ft. Hood, TX. Soon after his wife Elizabeth and his children (Danni, Kayley, Nick and Brooklynn) got settled Matthew Deployed to Afghanistan. A long year filled with heart ache and pain passed ever to slowly. In 2012 Matthew returned home to his family a changed man, not better or worse just different than he was. In April of 2013 Matthew was stationed at Ft. Leavenworth Kansas, now a Centurion, Matthew and his family push forward with only one goal in mind, to live each and every day to its fullest. Life is full of tragady true, but if we would look past that, and see the beautiful things the world has to offer it will amaze even the grumpiest of us. Matthew hobbies include playing with his children, annoying his wife, playing Everquest 2, reading any and all Forgotten Realms books, Marvel Comics and day dreaming.
