Author Information

Dr. Aniruddha Kanhe received his B.E. degree in electronics and telecommunication engineering from Pt. Ravi Shankar Shukla University, Raipur, India, M.Tech. degree in VLSI design from Visvesvaraya National Institute of Technology, Nagpur, India, and Ph.D. degree from National Institute of Technology Puducherry, Karaikal, India. Since 2013, he has been an assistant professor with the Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering, National Institute of Technology Puducherry, Karaikal, India. His research interests are audio steganography, digital speech signal processing, and low power VLSI system design.   Dr. Suresh Balanethiram has been an assistant professor in the Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering at the National Institute of Technology Puducherry since September 2021. Prior to joining NIT Puducherry, he was an assistant professor in the ECE department at IIIT Tiruchirappalli from November 2019. He obtained his Ph.D. in the area of Microelectronics from IIT Madras in 2017. In 2017, he was a postdoctoral fellow at IMS laboratory at University of Bordeaux, France. There he worked on on-wafer characterization and compact modeling of high-speed semiconductor devices with emphasis on electrothermal heating. During 2018-19, he worked as a senior project officer at IIT Madras to develop BiCMOS technology in India. His current research interests include compact modeling of semiconductor devices, thermally aware semiconductor device design, and neuromorphic computing. He has authored more than 30 research articles in IEEE journals and conferences related to electron devices and circuits.   Professor Dush N. Jayakody currently serves as a professor in the Department of Electronics & Electrical Engineering at the Faculty of Engineering, Sri Lanka Institute of Information Technology (SLIIT), Sri Lanka. He is also the vice chair of the IEEE ComSoc (Sri Lanka Chapter) and chairs the Centre for Excellence in Informatics, Electronics, & Transmission at SLIIT. His career includes notable leadership roles, such as serving as the dean of the Faculty of Postgraduate Studies & Research at Sri Lanka Technological Campus from 2019 to 2023 and as the director of Postgraduate, Research, and Impact at the same institution from 2021 to 2022.   Pao-Ann Hsiung, Ph.D., received his B.S. in Mathematics and his Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering from the National Taiwan University, Taipei, Taiwan, ROC, in 1991 and 1996, respectively. From 1996 to 2000, he was a post-doctoral researcher at the Institute of Information Science, Academia Sinica, Taipei, Taiwan, ROC. From February 2001 to July 2002, he was an assistant professor, and from August 2002 to July 2007, he was an associate professor in the Department of Computer Science and Information Engineering, National Chung Cheng University, Chiayi, Taiwan, ROC. Since August 2007, he has been a full professor. Dr. Hsiung’s main research interests include reconfigurable computing and system design, multi-core programming, smart city technology such as smart traffic and smart grid, cognitive radio architecture, system-on-chip design and verification, embedded software synthesis and verification, real-time system design and verification, hardware-software codesign and coverification, and component-based object-oriented application frameworks for real-time embedded systems.
