His reseach lines/area include nanomaterials, polymer composites, biomaterials, catalysis and carbon nanostructured surfaces. Mabel Miluska Suca Salas is a postdoctoral fellow at the Federal University of Pelotas. Her main research lines/areas include biomaterials, tissue engineering and public health. Ananda Morais Barbosa is a PhD student Federal University of Pelotas. She works on engineered nanomaterials for biomedical applications. Susana C. M. Fernandes is a senior researcher at the Royal Institution of Technology in Stockholm.
