He has teaching experience of over 15 years, administrative experience of over 6 years and industrial experience of about 8 years. He has authored 10 books, published over 150 articles in various leading journals, contributed 6 book chapters, and presented papers in 5 conferences. He has also completed some R&D projects. He is a peer reviewer in many journals and is editorial board member in some leading journals. He is a recipient of many recognitions and awards for outstanding contributions in his field. He was formerly professor and head of the department of textile technology at park college of engineering and technology, Coimbatore.
