Overview

The 12th Asia-Pacific Computer Systems Architecture Conference was held in Seoul, Korea, in August 2007. The conference attracted leading minds in computing and computer systems from around the world who came to share their findings and discuss the latest developments in the field. This volume represents the refereed proceedings of the conference. Twenty-six full papers are presented together with two keynote and eight invited lectures. All contributions were carefully reviewed to ensure that each one meets the highest standards of research and scholarship. Collectively, they represent some of the most important developments in computer systems architecture. The papers cover a wide range of topics, with an emphasis on hardware and software techniques for state-of-the-art, multi-core and multi-threaded architectures.
