Overview3D Printed Concrete: Fundamentals, Applications, and Future Prospects offers a pioneering and authoritative account of 3D printed concrete (3DPC)—a disruptive innovation poised to redefine the future of construction. Uniquely comprehensive in scope, this book bridges the gap between foundational knowledge and cutting-edge advancements, making it the first consolidated academic resource that caters to a diverse readership, from students and early researchers to seasoned industry professionals and academics. Structured into thirteen meticulously curated chapters, the book commences with the conceptual framework and evolution of 3DPC, charting its trajectory from a novel construction technique to a viable mainstream technology. It then provides in-depth technical coverage of key domains, including material science, mix design, rheology, mechanical performance, buildability, durability under aggressive environments, fire resistance, and reinforcement strategies tailored to the layer-wise construction paradigm of 3DPC.
