(Hons) degree in Computer Science from the University of Wolverhampton, UK in 1997, Masters in Information Technology from University Putra Malaysia in 2000 and PhD in Multimedia from the University of Malaya in 2008. His background covers a wide range of computer science and educational experiences, initially teaching undergraduates and supervising postgraduates both Masters and PhDs. He has written and published several conference proceedings, journals, book chapters both locally and internationally and a full book with IGI Global. He has also won a number of research innovation and invention awards both locally and internationally and filed for patterns for his work. He is a Chartered IT Professional with the British Computer Society (BCS) (UK), Fellow of BCS, a senior member of Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE), Computer and Communications Society, Malaysian National Computer Confederation (MNCC), Fellow of the Malaysian Scientific Association (MSA) and registered Professional Technologists with the Malaysian Board of Technologists (MBOT) Malaysia.
