Professor in the Metallurgical & Materials Department at the National Institute of Technology, Rourkela. He completed his PhD at IIT-Kharagpur in 2016. He received the National ""IEI Young Engineer Award"" in 2022, ""Yuva Rattan Award"" in 2020, ""C.V. Raman Award"" in 2019, and ""young faculty award"" in 2017. He has published more than 180 publications, including books, Book chapters, and Journals. 05 PhD students awarded under his supervision and more than 10 PhD students are from his institute/outside the institute are working on different projects with him. Currently, he has published one textbook ""Advanced Materials"" which is a recognized book worldwide (https://link.springer.com/book/10.1007/978-3-030-80359-9). Currently, assigned as The Honorary Secretary of The Institution of Engineers (India), Rourkela. Prof. Dr. Jayanta Kumar Patra, M.Sc., Ph.D., P.D.F, is currently working as an Associate Professor at Dongguk University, Republic of Korea. He holds about 14 years of research and teaching experience in the fields of food, pharmacology, and nano-biotechnology. To his credit, he has published more than 200 papers in various national and international peer-reviewed journals and around 50 book chapters in different edited books.
