Sebastiano Patti has a PhD in Public Economics. He studied Economics at the School of Economic Science - University of Manchester (UK), where he got his MSc in Economics. He is teaching Finance at the University of Catania (I). He thought Cultural Tourism and Environmental Economics within University's courses and Academic Masters’ Degrees. His research interests have led him to deepen tourism economic policies, with respect to the new tourism market trends, local development and the transition from tourism district policies to local production systems, the application of efficiency analysis tools in local public utilities and in industrial organization. He worked in the European research teams like researcher as well as research's manager within Tourism European Research Framework. Sebastiano is author of several scientific publications on tourism and environment. He is an Alumni of the Manchester University (UK). Lawyer and environmental consultant. Ph.D. expert in environmental law. President of the Legislative Commission ""Environment"" of the Sicilian Parliament of the XVI Legislature.
