He got a MD in Electronic Engineering from the University of Bari, Italy, and a PhD in Electronic Engineering from the Polytechnic of Bari. He has been director and technical manager of different private companies in the field of: industrial plants, environment measurements, nuclear and biomedical measurements; he was Director of Health & Environment in a public department.
