It covers almost all the topics that you are likely to see on the ACT math. This book is suitable for stronger students who want a perfect or nearly perfect on the ACT math score. It is about 500 pages long and some of the questions are slightly harder than what you might see on the actual test. This is actually a good thing if you are trying for a very high score. Highly recommend this book for ACT math. There is nothing more complete on the market. This is a very comprehensive text with dozens of topics and hundreds of problems of varying difficulty. Topics range from elementary arithmetic, geometry, trigonometry and algebra to elementary combinatorics and probability and complex arithmetic. The presentation is quite nice and ought to be a valuable addition for serious students. On previous book by same author: The book helped my son get 800 on the SAT Math 2 in the 2020 October test. My son was shooting for a 800. He went through the other more common books - Barrons, Princeton Review and even the harder Chung book but was still not consistently scoring high in practice tests.. It presented him with many of the hard challenging problems one could encounter on the test, which is exactly what was needed to prepare for a top score and overcome the last unexpected 10%. It boosted his confidence and he started getting high scores in the tests at home. Many thanks to the author for writing this amazing book. Author InformationThe author has a math degree from Johns Hopkins and more than 20 years experience tutoring ACT math and similar topics. He specializes in helping students get top scores of the math SAT and ACT and high grades in math honors classes. He has a documented history of helping students make huge improvements in test scores and grades. He wrote this because he needed advanced material for students already at a high score or had improved to a high score after working with him. The standard books were at about the same difficulty level as the real exam. He needed to assign large numbers of problems to get a few missed problems to go over. He needed a book that emphasized the advanced topics on the exam, so he created it. Tab Content 6Author Website:Countries AvailableAll regions |
