Overview

Scout Meadows finds herself joining an adult soccer team after her friends convince her that it will help during a hard time. She is told to expect shots, fun, and a relaxed atmosphere. So when Scout walks to her field number and sees her team not only being extremely good at what they do but also a professional soccer player as her team captain, she quickly rethinks everything her friends told her. Crew Landan has only ever had one goal. To get back into professional soccer after an injury has taken him out for a season. He finds that difficult when a girl joins his team, and is not only determined to stay on his team, but to challenge him at every twist and turn. The Vipers have won every game they have ever played. The team has no intention of letting a new girl ruin their scores. Scout must decide if she is resilient enough to work harder than she has ever worked before. Scout must practice more than everybody else, but she is realizing that adult soccer is an escape from the pain of her reality.
