Tami Oldham Ashcraft grew up on a surfboard, later trading it in for sails after signing up as a yacht crew member. She continues to be an avid sailor, is a one-hundred-ton licensed captain with more than fifty thousand offshore miles, and runs Brightwork by Tami, a yacht refinishing business. Laurence Bouvard is a professional actress and writer based in London and is chief executive of the North American Actors Association. A native of Wellesley, Massachusetts, she also acts in the United States.
