Overview

An alchemical transformation occurring herein. These prayers have been distilled in the alembic of my psyche over thirty years. They reach into the deepest areas in the core of my being. For half my life they sustained and succored me and, I hope, have nurtured and will continue to do so the lives of others. Still a religious, I am more polyvalent in my soul's journey than bound to any particular denomination or profession of faith. As Nietzsche wrote of his Zarathustra, this is a book for everyone and no one. It was time for me to publish this book. I am chimæric as indeed we all are to a greater or lesser extent. As a student of English literature, an ordained minister, and a depth psychologist, I could not be in a better position to cobble together and offer this volume of prayers.
