Overview

There's much, much more to the story of Adam and Eve than just to say that they ate an apple and were expelled from a garden paradise. Indeed, the story takes on the aspects of a very dangerous lesson of betrayal toward God that we are to avoid - which has nothing to do with either a natural, literal apple; nor, even, of a natural, literal snake.
