Author Information

Andrea Beaty was raised in southern Illinois in a town so small that she knew everybody and their pets. She grew up loving Nancy Drew and then eventually progressed to Agatha Christie books and the classics. Her secret ambition is to star in a Broadway musical, and she is often tempted to break into song and dance at very odd moments. Theanne Griffith is a neuroscientist and the author of The Magnificent Makers chapter-book series. Since she was a little girl, she's loved both storytelling and science, and her books combine those two passions. She is currently an assistant professor at the University of California Davis. Bahni Turpin is an experienced audiobook narrator and actress who has appeared in numerous television productions as well as films. An ensemble member of the Cornerstone Theater Company, she also works as a yoga instructor. She currently resides in Los Angeles, where she founded the SoLA Food Co-op.
