Acute and Chronic Elbow Instability: An Issue of Hand Clinics

Overview

Elbow instability has been a frequent challenge to clinicians, from diagnosis to revision surgery. Though much has been learned in recent years, elbow instability still haunts orthopaedic practices. This issue of ""Hand Clinics"" ventures up the extremity into the unforgiving joint and examines the problems posed by acute and chronic elbow instability in adults and children, including traumatic, congenital, autoimmune, post-reconstructive and infectious etiologies. Updates on relevant topics, such as management of contracture and heterotopic ossification, are also covered. Learn from some of the best elbow experts in the country as they share their knowledge and experience in how to handle some of the most difficult problems in orthopaedics.
