English summary: Now complete, this multi-volume critical edition aims to make accessible entries in papal registers held in the Vatican Archives that relate to the former greater diocese of Passau and the Duchy of Austria. The 378 documents in this fourth volume (complemented by 4 sections of Volume I of the Acta Pataviensia Austriaca) are again reprinted in full, although forms are once again used in order to reduce the volume of the work. In the edited texts both the practice surrounding the allocation of church offices (dioceses, canonries, parishes ...) as well as the handling of spiritual matters (e.g. interdicts, issues concerning marriage, the permission for absolution in articulo mortis...) are revealed in their social and political context. German description: Die nunmehr abgeschlossene Editionsreihe verfolgt das Ziel, der Forschung Eintragungen der Papstregister des Vatikanischen Archivs zuganglich zu machen, die das ehemalige Grossbistum Passau bzw. das Herzogtum Osterreich betreffen; mehr als 90 % der Originalurkunden gingen bei den Empfangern verloren. Die 378 Urkunden dieses vierten Bandes (und erganzend 4 Stucke zu Band I der Acta Pataviensia Austriaca) sind wieder im Volltext abgedruckt, wobei abermals zur Verringerung des Umfangs Formulare verwendet werden. In den edierten Texten werden sowohl die Praxis der Besetzung kirchlicher Amter (Bistumer, Kanonikate, Pfarren, ...) als auch die Handhabung spiritueller Belange (wie z.B. Interdikt, Ehe-Angelegenheiten, Erlaubnis zur Absolution in mortis articulo ...) in ihrem gesellschaftlichen und politischen Kontext erkennbar.
