Acquisition: Strategy and Implementation

Overview

Many acquisitions fail yet acquirers continue to make the same mistakes: poor planning, lack of communication and mishandled implementation. In this fully revised and updated edition, including a new chapter on new technology and e-commerce acquisitions, Nancy Hubbard guides the reader through a six stage planning process as well as exploring the history of acquisitions, their trends globally, and reasons for success and failure. The result is an insightful and unique guide to the process and pitfalls of acquisition strategy and implementation.
