Author Information

Diane Altwies, PMP, PM Fellow, has been managing software development projects for nearly 30 years as a program or project manager in the insurance, financial services, and healthcare industries. Diane is the CEO of Core Performance Concepts, Inc., a premier teaching and consulting organization specializing in project management, program management, business analysis, and developing advanced courseware topics for project managers. She is a frequent speaker at professional meetings and symposia across the country and a Fellow of PMI Orange County. Diane has an MBA in Finance and Marketing and a BA in Production Management, both from the University of South Florida. In addition to this book, she has co-authored two others: Program Management Professional: A Certification Study Guide with Best Practices for Maximizing Business Results and Achieve CAPM Exam Success: A Concise Study Guide and Desk Reference. Diane White, MA, PMP, CSM, LSSGB, has been managing projects for over 20 years in the information technology and telecommunications industries. She has integrated all aspects and phases of projects including purchasing, software development, testing, conversion, implementation, and process improvement. Diane is currently the lead instructor at Core Performance Concepts and has a Masters Certificate in Information Technology from George Washington University. She also has a Master of Arts and a BA in Education from the University of South Florida. Diane served on the board of the PMI - Tampa Bay Chapter for five years and the PMI Global Board of Directors from 2011-2013. She actively volunteers in the community as a Project Leader for United Way Hands on Tampa Bay.
