OverviewThis book discusses examples of acculturation and untranslatability challenges which occur to audiovisual translators during audiovisual translation processes. It further investigates how audiovisual translators should deal with the interplay between the verbal and visual modes to reach a sound translation away from literality and cultural gaps which usually take place when rendering meaning from one language to another and from one culture to another.
