OverviewGarry Barton is a top-level consultant working for an old-established, conservative firm of accountants in Chicago. But Garry incurs huge resentment when he advises his firm that they are sadly out of date with their business technology and at risk of failing. Rather than listen to uncomfortable news, the partners fire Garry. He joins up with a young, modern, aggressive firm of accountants and begins to take business away from his old employers. As they see their livelihoods threatened, they panic and attempt to scare Garry off with hired thugs. But as the failures mount up and their business begins to collapse, they panic until there is only one, bloody solution left and Garry must be killed.
