Overview
January 1, 2023. Giorgio De Giorgi stands in front of the mirror, contemplating his first 40 years of life. He works as a chef in a restaurant in Turin and has a desire to tell his story. He decides to buy what will become his life diary. He finds a ""vintage"" diary online that turns out to be something truly special. Through its pages, he will meet Joel Ferrél, who is also ""trapped"" in the diary, and together, they will face different adventures each day to uncover the culprits of various murders or thefts. Giorgio will also find love in a girl from Chivasso, Lucrezia Ferrante, whom he meets by chance while hitchhiking. The two begin dating within days, but the diary's choices are very different from reality. Suddenly, Giorgio is no longer a chef but officially becomes a world-renowned detective. This success completely overturns his life. No one remembers what he was for forty years. Lucrezia remembers nothing of their history and asks to become the secretary of DE GIORGI & FERREL INVESTIGATIONS. Other days of activities between the present and the past will lead Giorgio to discover things he never imagined. His relationship with Lucrezia no longer exists, and he accidentally finds out that Joel is currently dating the woman he loved. After some clarifications, Giorgio and Joel make peace, but another problem presents itself before their eyes. Joel knows that his time is running out, but he lacks the courage to tell Giorgio. The diary has other plans for him. Everything will come to light on January 31, when Giorgio's life will be turned upside down once again.

I am passionate about Agatha Christie, Mrs. Fletcher and especially the adventures of ""Detective Conan"". For over a year I felt the desire to write growing in me. Initially I had no idea how to start my first novel but then, all of a sudden the words began to fill the pages telling the story of Giorgio De Giorgi. In about seven months the book took its final form. Taking inspiration from the adventures of Detective Conan I imagined the cases to be solved in real places, both in the past and the present, trying to be as close as possible to the reality of the places and the period in which each case takes place. After the adventures of detective De Giorgi, a new protagonist is arriving, much more dazed and eccentric: Vera Sorgente, a very enterprising detective. Kalel Abellium... many ask me why this nickname: Kal-el is Superman's real name and so... which better hero could express my state of mind while my fingers press on the keyboard... Abellium to remember the city where I come from...
