Based on reliable research, the book provides a high-level picture of learning. Even better, it disproves some of what I thought I knew about learning, such as the usefulness of 'learning styles theory.' It reminded me that the finest learning is holistic, incorporating all of the senses and the magnificent interconnectivity of the planet. It also comforted me that addressing a learning activity in short spurts can be beneficial. (T.P.) This book is short and to the point. It's brief but clear, explaining strategies that work best for learning/memory and dispelling myths about practices that don't work as well but are widely assumed to work.
