This abridged arrangement (approximately 5:00 minutes playing time) requires the Grade 3.5 technical skills, range, and maturity of advanced high school or college-level trombonists. The range extends to a high C in the 1st part. After a traditional opening in C minor, there are modulatory sections in C major, E major, and the traditional rousing ending in C major. This volume contains a full score and individual parts for each trombone which may be photocopied for rehearsal and performance purposes. A part for optional timpani (C, D, and G) is included. Once the parts have been copied and prepared, never worry again about misplaced or damaged parts. Place this volume in your files, and you'll have it for years to come.
