N. M. Wallace is an optimist who believes every obstacle is an opportunity. She has a bachelor's degree in human resource management, and holds fast the theory of the famous German philosopher, Immanuel Kant, that people should be treated as ends in themselves and not as a means to an end. Wallace survived years of physical and emotional abuse from her ex-partner, an experience she shares in Abused.
