Abundant agriculture can transform modern extractive agriculture from an unhealthy, food insecure and expensive proposition to a healthy, sustainable and affordable food and energy, (SAFE) production system based on abundant inputs; available and affordable to everyone. Abundant agriculture exploits the green solar energy in algae to permit farmers to recover, recycle and reuse the energy and nutrients from farm waste streams. Farmers are able to transform a cost - waste management - to a profit center. Abundance significantly improves yields and crop quality while reducing costs, consumption of fossil resources and environmental pollution.
