OverviewThe poems in this book were composed on moonlit nights. With blank pages spread across the notebook and blank tabs on the computer. Filled with feelings and thoughts that mysteriously emerged from the ink, perhaps because they yearned to exist on paper and screens, when living had already become synonymous with merely treading through time. Poems about the act of writing, the depths of the mind, life and death, love and passion, about work and also about dinner time. Poetry about demons in the form of fear, enemies that hide in words, and friends who come to save us. Poems that I wanted to share, like letters left in a mailbox, about the desire to ask someone special to stay and undress their feelings while covering them with verses. Poems about kisses, colors of the eye, the silence around in the voices of those who pass by. A book about consciousness and the pleasure of being awake, even while wishing to sleep.
