Author Information

Rebecca Struthers is the most qualified watchmaker in British history, becoming the first practitioner in her field to earn a PhD in the subject. She is the critically acclaimed author of Hands of Time, a BBC Radio 4 Book of the Week, as well as being a multi-award-winning watchmaker, designer, and historian. Alom Shaha is a dad, science teacher and the author of Mr Shaha's Marvellous Machines and Mr Shaha's Recipes for Wonder, books of STEM based activities for families. He is also the author of Why Don't Things Fall Up? and has received fellowships recognising his creative approach to science communication from The British Science Association, The Nuffield Foundation, and The National Endowment for Science, Technology, and the Arts (NESTA).
