About Three Women

Overview

Family Secrets, a Bed-and-Breakfast, and a Wedding on the Brink of Disaster... Finally free from her family's inn, Carly Davis's idyllic life in Maine implodes after a disastrous second chance at love and a shocking DNA test. Enraged by her parents' deception, this Gen Xer returns to Block Island to confront the lies and uncover her origin story. Meanwhile, Joanie Wilson finds herself embroiled in planning her bridezilla sister's wedding at the inn. When a timing snafu puts the wedding at risk, this quiet innkeeper must juggle her family, her job, and her boyfriend's secrets, putting all her relationships in jeopardy. The DNA test reveals a connection between Carly and the sisters, and the wedding holds the key to Carly's past. Will she discover the family she's been searching for, or will the truth only bring more pain? About Three Women is the second installment in The Block Island Saga women's fiction series. E.D. Hackett's tale of courage is perfect for those who enjoy found family, island towns, and sister fiction.

Author Information

E.D. Hackett lives with her husband, two children, and three fur babies in Massachusetts. She always enjoyed writing short stories and journaling when she was a child. She majored in Journalism for a hot second in college and eventually graduated with a Master's degree in Speech-language pathology. E.D. Hackett is an SLP by day and a writer by night. For most of her adult years, her writing was placed on the back burner due to the chaos of full-time parenting and full-time work. With a little encouragement, she decided to write a novel, write it well, and write it scared. Hope Hanna Murphy is her third novel. She hopes to convey themes that are relatable to all women and hopes they are enjoyed by all readers. She can be found on Facebook, Instagram, and Goodreads, as well as her website www.edhackettauthor.com
