Author Information

Seth Tyler is a father, writer, and minister. He grew up in central Missouri in the small town ofLeeton. Seth obtained a bachelor of science degree in education from Central Christian College ofthe Bible in Moberly, Missouri. Seth married his late wife in 2008. Having secured a teachingposition right out of college, he taught at a private Christian school while working at localchurches part-time. He then moved into full-time church ministry in 2010. After many years ofserving in church ministry, in 2020, Seth and his wife accepted positions as directors at WestCentral Christian Service Camp, a church camp and retreat center in central Missouri. After thetragic, unexpected loss of his wife in the summer of 2021, Seth began writing openly on socialmedia about his grief. After much persuasion and encouragement from others, Seth took on theproject of writing About This Grief as a form of healing for himself and hopes to help others intheir own grief. Seth continues to serve as director of that same church camp and retreat center.
