He debuted as a writer with the poetry collection Strychnine and Other Poems in 2005, for which he was awarded the prestigious Jiri- Orten Prize. He followed this with his first work of prose, the novel Aberrant (2008), His short story collection Stay with Us (2011) won the Magnesia Litera Prose Book of the Year Award.
