Abdominal aortic aneurysm (AAA) is a medical condition when localized enlargement of the abdominal aorta takes place such that its diameter is greater than 3 cm. Generally, there are no symptoms of abdominal aortic aneurysm, except during rupture. Sometimes, leg, back or abdominal pain may occur.
