ABC Math in Nature invites children and adults to discover a world of simple wonders. One doesn't have to travel far to see angles within trees, balancing equations among branches, concentric circles in tree trunks, or diagonals within leaves. The purpose of this book is to enable children to look at aesthetic photography of math concepts in nature. ABC Math in Nature will increase awareness and appreciation of nature, encourage adults to share their knowledge with children, and help create opportunities for children to share their sense of wonder with adults. The purpose of this book is to inspire children and educators to see math beyond the four walls of the classroom, and to explore the aesthetic beauty of math in nature.
