OverviewThumbnailing, the process of sketching tiny versions of the pages of one's story, is generally done as a way to not get stuck in the details of a drawing before the whole is working and also as to get a good overview of how the pages work together. Most comic book artists, picture book illustrators and visual storytellers do this to help them work more efficient and create better art faster. This is a sketchbook/notebook for illustrators and people who work with storytelling in print-media. Each spread consists of a page of 16 thumbnails of spreads of A4 pages, and a page for notes or free sketches. I chose to make the book with the pages to be used in landscape format, the thumbnail page above the notes page, as many feel that sketchbooks are more balanced in their hands this way rather than traditional. The book also comes with 2 pages of short tips, or reminders, for the thumbnailing process Full Product DetailsAuthor: Peter IliacaPublisher: Independently Published Imprint: Independently Published Dimensions: Width: 20.30cm , Height: 0.30cm , Length: 25.40cm Weight: 0.118kg ISBN: 9781076636324ISBN 10: 1076636322 Pages: 48 Publication Date: 27 June 2019 Audience: General/trade , General Format: Paperback Publisher's Status: Active Availability: In stock We have confirmation that this item is in stock with the supplier.
