Author Information

Merrijoy Kelner, PhD, is professor emerita of sociology at the University of Toronto. She specialized in the sociology of health and taught in the Medical Faculty at U of T for over 25 years. At the age of 98, she has had a lifelong love of the arts and is an avid reader. She enjoys a rich social life with friends from many walks of life. Throughout her lifetime, she has initiated countless social and intellectual experiences for friends and colleagues, enriching the lives of those around her.
