I love people. I feel it is part and parcel to my vocation. I am a pastor and it is hard work. If you are a pastor, you already know what I mean. Pastors are on 24/7. But pastors are people too. So how do they continue to stay encouraged and inspired when they seem to never be off duty? This little book offers some suggestions. It is hardly comprehensive. Nevertheless, it offers some tips that have been born out of many years of doing ministry. May it serve to inspire and to encourage you to keep Fanning the Flame.

Victor Stanley holds a BA from Moody Bible Institute, an MA from Liberty University School of Divinity, and a M.Div. from Liberty University Theological Seminary. He is the senior pastor of Calvary Baptist Church of Woodbridge, Virginia. He has served the congregation there for more than twenty years. Prior to this he has served in various churches in Chicago. His experience includes church a planting, teaching, worship and arts, and pastor of Christian Education. He and his wife, Cynthia, also minister to couples as marriage coaches.
