Author Information

Sonja Leason is Director of Love Mondays, a business consultancy that focuses on fast growth culture for SME's. From lead to delivery, Love Mondays work with businesses from start ups to national brands such as Peugeot and Pizza Hut, growing them by up to 200% year on year and aligning profit with purpose to grow businesses for social good. After leaving home at 16 and getting pregnant by 17, Sonja worked her way out of homelessness as a single mum. She was running her business by the time she was 30. She has thrown herself into a career in business, learning everything that she could about sales, marketing and human behaviour. This became her life's work and forms the basis of their growth strategies. Sonja believes that people; how they buy, sell and behave, form the pillars of successful business growth. In addition, Sonja works as an emotional health coach, freeing people from physical, emotional and mental illness through trauma process work. Her deep understanding of people and her belief in giving back feed into their 5 step methodology, SCALE, where Love Mondays streamline their clients growth into a strategic and intentional strategy with purpose at its core. Sonja also hosts a business podcast, From Struggle to Success, documenting entrepreneurs life stories and how they overcame serious struggle to form successful businesses that make a real impact in the world. Sonja believes that we are on the edge of a radical shift in business and embracing this change to positively impact the world will ensure profitability and sustainability. Sonja believes that entrepreneurs can make a real difference and she is excited to be part of this movement. Lorraine[ld1] is the co-founder and owner of a training business, New Era Training, which focusses on wealth creation. She specialises in creating recurring income products with entrepreneurs by monetising their knowledge and experience in online courses. She mentors entrepreneurs on their products. She replaces their income and gives them time and financial freedom. [ld2] She is passionate that entrepreneurs should not be trapped by: 1. The cash rollercoaster 2. Sales returning to zero each month 3. Being paid last and the least 4. That life should be more fun, even if you are running your own business She believes that life is so precious for us all, and that each day is a gift for us to enjoy. Her book More Money; More Fun teaches entrepreneurs to create an online course from their knowledge and experience which will bring their business reliable recurring revenues, and therefore make business more fun. She believes that you can change your life, make lots of money for you and your family and then help others. Then with more freedom and energy, you can go on to make a difference in the world. She loves business and especially enjoys helping others. She feels that if you find your passion in life, you will never work another day, and will never want to give it up. Jeannie McGillivray is MD and Co-Founder of Remote, a software development company focused on helping purpose-driven organisations make a greater positive impact in the world, which she founded with her husband, Paul, in 1999. Over the years, she has successfully navigated the notoriously male-dominated Tech industry, leading her team of designers and software developers and managing the growth of the company. She is also Co-Founder and COO of Code Assembly. Most noted for the Incoder application, Code Assembly innovates disruptive software and incubator programs that give the engineers, innovators and inventors of the world the space to experiment, collaborate, innovate and learn. More recently, she has Co-Founded and is COO at The Heroworx Institute, which provides accessible, innovative courses, programs and consultancy to equip a diverse workforce with the skills, methods and mindset to drive innovation and a sustainable digital economy. In these roles, Jeannie has worked within enterprises of varying sizes, from start-ups to International brands, to deliver business transformation across their organisations. Harnessing her experience in business and her work as a oneness teacher, Jeannie leads Purpose First business retreats with her husband, principally for people who want to leverage a deep understanding of themselves and their unique skills and abilities to bring about a culture of connection, purpose and meaning to transform the way we live and work. She is also the host of the 'Changemaker Mindset' podcast, where she interviews inspirational change makers to find out what drives them to work for a greater good, what they're doing and how they're doing it. Alongside her work life, Jeannie is proud mum to her daughter Ella Joy, a music producer and entrepreneur in her own right, and has embarked upon formal training in clinical herbal medicine. Her book 'Heart Leadership' is set for publication in the spring of 2020.
