Author Information

Angélique Lecaye was born in Paris in 1986. She first studied fashion design then haute couture embroidery. From a French family of Russian, Lebanese and Italian origin, she today shares her life between Italy and France. Granddaughter of Olga Lecaye, daughter of Grégoire Solotareff, Angélique now writes stories for children, thus joining the family tradition. Grégoire Solotareff was born in 1953 in Alexandria, Egypt, moving to France with his family as a boy. He began his career in medicine but published his first children's book in 1985. Since then he has published over 150 books for young people which have been translated throughout the world. His Loulou series has sold over a million copies worldwide.
