Table of ContentsReviewsAuthor Information"About The Author: Bob Blake also known as ""Dr. Bob"" is a Singer/Songwriter (over 500 songs on CD Baby) Author of more than 40 books, (with more to come) He teaches Guitar/Songwriting/ukulele at the Broward County Community School in Coral Springs, FL Bob with the band THE RAMRODS FOUR has backed Stars like DEL SHANNON of Runaway fame, DANNY & THE JUNIORS (who sang At The Hop), JAN & DEAN (who had big hits with Baby Talk and Dead Man's Curve), He has also been in shows with: DUANE EDDY, THE ANGELS, THE JIVE FIVE, THE G CLEFS, LINDA SCOTT, ADAM WADE, TOMMY BOYCE (of Boyce and Hart (the writers of The Monkee's songs) & TOMMY MARA (who had a hit with the old standard Where the Blue of the Night Meets the Gold of the Day). His band was called The Ramrods at first then a group with the same name surfaced with a hit song called Ghost Riders in the Sky, so Bob's group became The Ramrods Four. After Bob left the group it became The Rockin' Ramrods and was based in Cambridge MA around the Harvard Square area. After several personnel changes according to an article in the Boston Phoenix newspaper the band evolved into the nationally known Group Sha Na Na. At the present time he also runs ""Dr. Bob's"" Musicians' Showcase One Saturday a month at the Margate Library FL (Catherine Young Branch) from 2 to 4 P.M. a program that is FREE TO THE PUBLIC."
