A Treasure for the Church: St. Josemara on Marriage, Family, & Education

Overview

Pope Paul VI once regarded the oral and written teachings of St. Josemaria "" a treasure which belongs to the whole Church,"" instructing them to be carefully collected. Within this treasure trove of his writings, St. Josemaria points us repeatedly to another treasure- that of human and divine love: "" Love is a holy thing when it is Christian- it is a treasure."" A Treasure for the Church presents St. Josemaria's personal answers to real-life questions posed during his catechetical gatherings in Spain (1972) and Latin America (1974-1975), published for the first time in English. Drawn from his conversations with parents, educators, and youth, these answers offer timeless, practical advice for forming Christian character at home, in school, and in the world. This book is especially written for parents, educators, and catechists, but its powerful insights will resonate with youth leaders, young adults, and anyone committed to building character through faith and love.
