Table of ContentsReviewsAuthor InformationElias Khairi Sito - Artist & WriterElias Khairi Sito is an Iraqi-born painter and writer whose work explores themes of war, displacement, identity, and resilience. His artistic and literary journey began during the height of the ISIS insurgency and sectarian conflict in Iraq, circumstances that forced him to leave his homeland in 2014.After traveling through multiple countries, he arrived in Germany in 2015, where he began documenting his experiences through memoirs, short stories, and visual art. Drawing on personal history and collective memory, his work reflects the emotional and psychological landscapes of exile, survival, and fractured belonging.Elias has published more than two books and created over 100 original artworks. In 2021, he resettled in Australia, where he continues to write and produce art that bears witness to loss, endurance, and the ongoing search for meaning beyond borders.
