Lloyd was taught many skills by loving parents. After being publicly educated, he left home to work in the construction trades. Familiar with many tools, and comfortable in laboring, he never found himself without something to do. In his early twenties, he helped start up a business that repairs electro-mechanical equipment. More than twenty-five years later, and still happy fixing things, he has not lost his desire to imagine and build.
