OverviewA Note from the Author: I've met people who are apathetic about the meaning of life; many of them had cared, but they later saw the exploration to be pathetic and futile. There are others who have found their meaning through Christianity, Islam, Buddhism, or other belief systems, but most of us are tangled up in this endless pursuit of truth, whatever it may be. I believe that every person should take on the task of pursuing truth despite it's potential unpleasant revelations, because what else are you going to do? It is this belief that drove me, a teenager, to write this book. A Brief Summary of the Content: A Teenager's Account of Existence will explore an array of topics including the the brute fact of existence, Big Bang cosmology, the plausibility of God, the concept of infinity, the physics and philosophies of time, objective moral order, atheist morality, Christian morality, the problem of evil, free will versus determinism, and a glimpse into the meaning of life. This book contains references to Immanuel Kant, David Hume, Friedrich Nietzsche, Rene Descartes, C.S. Lewis, Stephen Hawking, Katie Mack, William Lane Craig, Alvin Plantinga, Sam Harris, John Searle, R.T. Mullins, and various other intellectuals.
