Fisher has been a professor at College of Biblical Studies in Houston, Texas since 2009, and has been teaching for multiple universities online for the last six years. Prior to becoming a professor, he taught at his Alma Mater Galena Park High School, and Spring Independent School District for a total of eight years. He has been in ministry (preaching and teaching) for the last twenty-three years. He received his doctorate degree in teacher leadership from Walden University, a master's degree in education from American Intercontinental University in instructional technology, a master's degree in education from Our Lady of the Lake University with dual majors in curriculum and instruction and master technology teaching, and completed a third master's degree in organizational leadership from Baptist Bible Seminary. He finished his Bachelors of Science degree in biblical studies from College of Biblical Studies, and has a teacher certification in Business Education from Texas State University. Dr. Fisher enjoys bringing his zeal for teaching Christian leadership and computer technology at the School where it all started for him. Dr. Fisher was the recipient of the 2009 Teacher of the Year award in Spring I.S.D. and the 2009 Teacher of the year for the Spring I.S.D. Virtual High School, featured as the 2009 Teacher of the Month (June) by KPRC Channel 2 Houston, and in 2009 he was recognized by Harris County Region 4 as Teacher of the Year. Recently, he was nominated (by his peers) and was inducted into the Delta Epsilon Chi Honor Society for Biblical Higher Education for his intellectual achievement, Christian character, and leadership ability. He is the author of three books, ""Virtual Schooling through the eyes of Teachers,"" ""Attitudes and Perspectives About Teaching of Teachers Who Provide Online Instruction at the Secondary Level,"" and ""A Technology Workbook for Christian Learners."" He is currently working on multiple article and book projects. He has been married to his beautiful wife, Kym for nineteen years. They have three kids, Brittani, Nicholas, and Sydnee.
