William H. Powell, MA, CFRE was raised in Kansas City Missouri after being honorable discharged from the U.S. Army 35 years ago he entered graduate school at the University of Missouri at Kansas City. He and his wife Marilyn worked together as house parents for five years with teenage boy. After their two children were born he began a career of working with developmentally disabled individuals. For a total of 28 years he was CEO Class Ltd. in Kansas and Progress Industries in Iowa. During his career in not-for-profit organizational leadership he developed expertise in fundraising and was recognized as a CFRE in 1994. He has received multiple recognitions for career and community achievements.. He and his wife Marilyn now reside in Bella Vista Arkansas.
