Laura Thompson is a writer and freelance journalist who won the Somerset Maugham award for her first book, The Dogs. She is also the author of the critically acclaimed biography of Nancy Mitford, Life in a Cold Climate, the New York Times bestseller The Six: The Lives of the Mitford Sisters, and Agatha Christie: A Mysterious Life. Jilly Bond studied English & drama at Bristol University. She has more than thirty years of experience acting on stage, for television and film, and for radio and audiobooks. When not acting or voice acting, she can be found teaching, directing, or producing. The critically acclaimed winner of two Earphones Awards, she has recorded more than a hundred audiobooks.
