Table of ContentsReviewsThis is a profound theoretical study with a palpable practical impact linking in masterly fashion clinical practice with the realm of metaphysics and sacred reality. It lays sound grounds for a nonrelativistic biomedical ethics and for a genuinely humane attitude to patients. Ken A. Bryson eloquently proves that he stands for the dignity of both patient and physician. This book is an indispensable manual and a source of inspiration for the hospital ward, ambulatory settings, classroom teaching and learning, as well as for all those who see in the patient a human person and not just an organic body.--Alexander L.
